What about the cup?

We’ve been asking #WhatAboutTheCup to shed light on the paper cup recyclability issue. Now it's time to talk solutions.

How can we help?

When it comes to disposable coffee cups, one paper-thin layer of plastic poses a massive barrier to recyclability — one that creates millions of pounds of landfill waste each year.

BASF has the long-awaited answer to the paper cup recyclability problem. It gives converters the ability to produce inventory on demand, create their own boards, and reuse waste to reduce landfill costs. It lets brand owners keep their promises to consumers. It’s also a recyclable and repulpable alternative to polyethylene and wax coatings.
