The high solids content makes it ideal for use with slurried pigments and formulations that have limited available free water. Paints formulated with Acronal PLUS 4230 demonstrate high scrub resistance and outstanding wet adhesion to aged alkyd paints. The product can be formulated at 50 g/l of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and has excellent film properties and freeze/thaw stability.

The product is a high-performance all-acrylic architectural binder suitable for satin through high gloss systems in white through deep bases. Acronal Edge 4248 is a new addition to the premium exterior coatings latex portfolio that is also free from intentionally added fluorosurfactants. This product offers premium performance for exterior paint and primer in one formulation. It offers superior top-coat durability and exceptional primer properties including efflorescence resistance and tannin blocking. Acronal Edge 4248 offers exceptional dirt pickup resistance, surfactant leaching resistance, and grain cracking resistance, ensuring your home looks freshly painted for longer, even in harsh weather conditions.
