Louis is the Global Additives Industry Marketing Manager in North America, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has been at BASF for 10yrs, his previous experience includes commercial roles at BASF Mexicana and formerly as Sales and Market Development leader within Dispersions, Resins and Additives division. Louis is responsible of product launches, business development and coordinates regional marketing efforts across different market segments for the Additives business, closely aligned to market trends in the Coatings Industry. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering, postgraduate Diplomas in Finance.

Mervin Wood Jr.
Mervin Wood Jr. is part of BASF’s Resins & Additives Technical Service Team located in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Technical Expert, he is responsible for technical support of UV absorbers, light stabilizers, antioxidants, flame retardants, & optical brighteners for coatings and adhesives in NAFTA. Previously, Dr. Wood has held positions in Process Development, Coatings Research, Toll Manufacturing, and Intellectual Property Management all with Ciba/BASF since 1988.
